Learning Investment the Patient Way

September 2025 Enrolment Now Open

Most people panic when markets dip. Our participants learn to recognize opportunity instead. This isn't a course promising overnight returns—it's a structured approach to building the mindset and skills that actually matter when you're managing real money over decades.

How the Programme Unfolds

We've structured this around how people actually develop investment confidence. Not through lectures alone, but by working through scenarios that mirror what you'll face with your own portfolio.

Foundation Months (Sept-Nov 2025)

You'll start by understanding why certain investment principles work across different market conditions. We look at historical patterns—not to predict the future, but to see how patience and perspective make a measurable difference.

Application Phase (Dec 2025-Feb 2026)

This is where theory meets your actual financial situation. You'll work through portfolio scenarios with guidance from mentors who've spent years helping people navigate market volatility without making emotional decisions.

Ongoing Practice (Mar-Aug 2026)

Markets change. Your circumstances change. The final months focus on adapting your approach as variables shift, with regular check-ins to discuss what's working and what needs adjustment in your strategy.

Who You'll Learn With

Our programme coordinators bring different perspectives to investment patience. They've each spent years working with people who are trying to build wealth without constantly second-guessing their decisions.

Fergus Branigan, Programme Coordinator

Fergus Branigan

Programme Coordinator

Fergus spent fifteen years advising clients who were brilliant at earning money but struggled with keeping it invested during downturns. He developed this programme after noticing the same patterns—smart people making reactive decisions that cost them over time.

Sorcha Galvin, Strategy Mentor

Sorcha Galvin

Strategy Mentor

Sorcha works with participants on the psychological side of investing. She's particularly good at helping people identify their own behavioral patterns—the ones that lead to buying high and selling low without realizing they're doing it.

What Changes After a Year

We track outcomes not in percentage returns—markets do what they do—but in whether participants can stay invested through volatility without losing sleep. That's the real measure of whether this approach works.

From Reactive to Responsive

Many people start the programme checking their portfolio daily and feeling anxious about every market movement. By month six, most participants have shifted to quarterly reviews and report feeling more confident in their long-term strategy.

Typical shift: Daily anxiety to quarterly confidence

Understanding Your Own Pattern

The breakthrough often comes when participants recognize their personal triggers—what makes them want to sell or change course. Once you see your own pattern, you can plan around it instead of being controlled by it.

Common realization: Identifying decision-making patterns

2024 Programme Graduate

"I used to move money around constantly. Now I actually have a plan I can stick with, even when headlines are scary."

"The most valuable part was learning to separate market noise from actual changes that require action. That distinction matters."

September 2025 Programme Details

Our next cohort begins in September 2025 and runs through August 2026. Places are limited to ensure everyone gets meaningful feedback on their individual situations. If you're interested in developing a more patient approach to investment, we'd be glad to discuss whether this programme fits your needs.
